The routes of Alta badia

Alta Badia is a renowned territory located in the province of Bolzano, in the heart of the Dolomites, a mountainous area of extraordinary beauty to be classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by majestic peaks, the region offers an enchanting mix of alpine landscapes, green valleys and picturesque villages. With a population of about 10,000 inhabitants, Alta Badia is an oasis of tranquility and unspoilt nature. The countries are six: Colfosco, Corvara, La Villa, San Cassiano, Badia e La Val, each with a unique character and a rich cultural history. Local traditions are rooted in the way of life of people, who still preserve their customs and the Ladin language.
