Baggage
Baggage allowance
Included in your booking is the transport of:
- 2 checked baggage
- 1 hand baggage
Hold baggage means baggage of a total size not exceeding 140 cm and a weight not exceeding 12 kg to be placed in the hold of the bus.
Carry-on baggage means baggage of a size not exceeding 40 X 30 X 15 cm and a weight not exceeding 5 Kg to be placed inside the bus overhead bins.
It is allowed to carry additional hold luggage subject to availability of seat and upon payment of the fee of € 5.00.
Remember that luggage must be labelled with the passenger’s name, surname and contact details, as well as the place of departure and arrival.
Passengers are prohibited from carrying dangerous goods or substances and valuables.
In the event of damage, theft or loss of baggage, the passenger must immediately notify the crew and fill out the appropriate form.
In the event of damage, theft or loss of baggage, compensation will be granted up to a maximum of EUR 6.20 per kg up to a maximum of 12 kg or the higher figure resulting from the passenger’s declaration of value and accepted by the carrier.
Sports equipment
Included in your booking is the transport of:
- 1 pair of skis/snowboards
It’s ‘allowed the transport of additional skis/ snowboard subject to availability of place and paying the fee of € 5.00.
Remember that skis/snowboards must be labeled with the passenger’s surname, first name and contact details as well as the place of departure and arrival.
In case of damage, theft or loss of skis/ snowboard the passenger is required to give immediate notice to the crew and fill in the appropriate form.
In the event of damage, theft or loss of baggage, compensation will be granted up to a maximum of EUR 6.20 per kilogram up to a maximum of 12 kg or the higher figure resulting from the passenger’s declaration of value and accepted by the carrier.
It is allowed the transport of a bicycle subject to reservation and upon payment of the fee of 25,00 euro.
Remember that the bicycle must be labeled with the passenger’s surname, first name and address as well as the place of departure and the place of arrival.
In case of damage, theft or loss of the bicycle, the passenger must immediately notify the crew and fill in the appropriate form.
Damaged/stolen/lost baggage
If you have damaged, stolen or lost luggage on board a Cortina Express bus, you can send us a report using the form provided.
Remember that luggage must be labelled with the passenger’s name, surname and contact details, as well as the place of departure and arrival.
