FIND OUT MORE ABOUT

Vodo di Cadore

In the valley of the Boite stream, at an altitude of 910 metres above sea level, rises Vodo di Cadore, between the Dolomite massifs of Pelmo and Antelao. Less than two hours' drive from Venice, the area where it has its source is also called "Oltrechiusa" (“Beyond the Lock”), because it is actually located upstream of the fort of the "Lock" of Venas di Cadore. Vodo enjoys an excellent geographical position just near the ski resorts of Cortina d'Ampezzo and San Vito di Cadore and, at the same time, it is set along a tranquil verdant bank. The sports you can practice in this area range from mountain biking – for which the cycle path “La Lunga Via delle Dolomiti” remains the preferred route for Italian and foreign guests - to summer hiking, with trails of different levels of difficulty.
